Nude designs is now ready to show off our creative talents with our unique showroom at our Surrey base.

We are pleased to be able to demonstrate the subtle but high-impact effects that can be achieved using well-designed lighting schemes, while showcasing innovative room technology and inspiring interiors. The Showcase will be an opportunity to highlight:

• State-of-the-art eco-friendly control systems from Crestron
• High-quality light fittings designed and manufactured by Nude
• How subtle effects and finishes can be brought together for a stunning interior
• Chief designer Lucy Bubb will also be running seminars and training

But that’s not all. With our expertise in home automation providing a unique approach to the way in which we execute lighting projects, the showroom will also function as a technology platform for Crestron home-control systems, allowing you to see – and touch - functionality firsthand. It will be a crucial tool in the early design phase where we discuss options and expectations with you, and match these with your budget.

Discreet solutions in innovative lighting

Indeed there are few showrooms of this type in existence - and even fewer that are designed to show both lighting effects and discreet technology alongside inspiring interior design ideas. All too often showrooms are there to show the fittings themselves, displaying bewildering arrays of audio-visual (AV) equipment and TVs. But not here. the space will be seemingly empty - it will reveal what you cannot see; the discreet solutions and clever lighting ideas that we excel at. It will also reflect Nude’s skills in interior finishing and detail, so it will look and feel fantastic, while working seamlessly to sell concepts and abilities.

Controlled by your smartphone

This ‘inviting space’ will include a complete home theatre, plus IP cameras and door access that can be controlled from anywhere in the world by your iPhone or iPad. Everything, in fact - down to the underfloor heating and the fireplace - will be remote controlled.

It all sounds very state-of-the-art yet ironically, it’s been a challenge to fit the showroom, which is located in a historic part of Dorking. We’ve had to get literally miles and miles of different types of cable retro- fitted into an old building, whilst keeping a smooth and quality finish both inside and out. Yet it’s something we’re used to as not all our design projects are new builds!
