Established in 2001 to deliver inspirational lighting schemes, Nude has grown into a new partnership to incorporate all aspects of home design, supply and integration.

Our ethic has always been to meet our clients' needs, expectations and budgets while creating stunning, practical and unique design solutions. We pride ourselves on our creative enthusiasm, our personal customer service and our attention to fine detail.

In order to deliver the best designs and the highest quality of service, we offer either individual design solutions or a fully integrated service. To date, we have worked on international projects across the board, from town houses, country estates, cottages, barn conversions and apartments to commercial offices, bars, boutiques, hotels and restaurants. We have also created designs for yachts, eco-builds, medieval restoration projects and ski lodges.

Meet the team

  • Lucy Bubb

    Lucy trained at the world-renowned KLC School of Interior Design and soon realised that lighting was her passion. Following four years at John Cullen Lighting in London as a Senior Designer, she founded Nude Lighting and Interior Design in 2001. From concept to commissioning, Lucy is faithful to the client's interests and budget on every project.

  • Iain Bubb

    Complementing the team's creativity with a technological pragmatism, Iain has both an MBA and a degree in Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering, which makes him both the business and the automation expert with a passion for advocating integrated lighting and AV control solutions that simplify and future proof your home.

  • Nicole Porter

    Nicole is a published acoustic specialist who can ensure perfect acoustics in any space, with the addition of attention to detail and style.

  • Jenny McCleave

    Jenny is another former Senior Lighting Designer from John Cullen Lighting who is passionate about her design work and always puts the client first.

  • Kay Thomas

    Kay is our Office Manager and Design Secretary. She keeps it all running smoothly and ensures everything goes out to the client correctly.

  • Jim Edwards

    Jim is our in house Nude Designs supply and installation support and electrical and Automation engineer, taking responsibility for all our installations and certification as well as the design, manufacture and supply of our lighting products and controls.

  • Alec Hodgson

    Alec is a Finance Director with experience in the property development industry who is handling all Nude's financial and supply relationships. With Alec on board we hope to keep the finances tight and the order process handled professionally and diligently to ensure customer satisfaction.
